The Geddes Garden
A dedicated group of gardeners transformed an old-fashioned back green into a beautiful green space, peaceful yet full of interest.
The original design was a homage to Sir Patrick Geddes and true to his ideals it has evolved organically since then.
The Geddes Garden comes into its own in the summer months yet has been used all year for extraordinary exhibitions of sculpture.
We are always interested to hear from Club members who would like to help keep the Geddes Garden in top condition. Please contact Val in the Club Office to find out more. firstname.lastname@example.org
The botanical tour through Geddes Garden.
Each month Brian Blundell is doing a short but informative write up about a plant that is typical for that time of the year. Photos by Malena Persson accompanies the text.
Evergreens, spring flowers and winter blooms, our garden has them all. Much thought has gone into planning the Geddes garden, to make sure it looks its best all year round with plants blossoming even in winter. We hope this series will encourage our Members to venture outside and spend some more time among the botanics of the Club. Spring and summer is coming, so how about having your lunch in the greenery. Welcome out to Geddes Garden.
