Club favourite Cat Loud returns to the Scottish Arts Club with an evening of jazz, blues and pop songs in the intimate setting of the Studio, accompanied on guitar by past club steward Jay Cameron.

Cat Loud Bio
Known for dusky vocals and biting wit, Cat Loud is a jazz singer, cabaret performer and writer from the Isle of Mull and now based in Edinburgh. A regular at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, she debuted he first show Cat Loud’s Big Night In in 2015 to five-star reviews. Her second solo show Wayward saw her first collaborate with Edinburgh-based blues collective The Blueswater and her most recent solo apocalypse cabaret To the End of the World! won a VAULT Festival Origins Award for Outstanding New Work in 2018. She also leapt into the jazz scene with Good Morning, Billie! - a celebration of jazz icon Billie Holiday - which premiered in 2018 with The Blueswater. Her most recent jazz project Torch Songs – a show featuring some of the most dismal love songs in jazz, blues and soul - has been at Edinburgh’s The Jazz Bar, the Dundee Jazz Festival and will be performed at Prague Fringe this May.
Jay Cameron Bio
Jay Cameron is a musician, songwriter, composer, and writer of musical theatre. His first full length musical A Gentleman's Game, for which he wrote music and lyrics, was performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2016. After the success of this show Jay went on to perform his songs at showcases of his work in Edinburgh and London. His next musical Zero, which explores the science and morality of nuclear weapons was selected as part of BEAM 2018, the largest showcase of new musical theatre writing in the UK. Jay currently lives in Canberra, Australia where he is working on two new theatre works and has established himself as an in demand freelance composer and performing musician.
