- ‘Elgar’ the story of this composer takes the form of a documentary with a background of Elgar’s music and a voiceover by Huw Weldon – the film is made up of actors playing the parts of the composer and others, and is interspersed by actual archive film of the time
- ‘Song of Summer’ tells the story of the last few years of the life of Delius who, so unwell that he could not write, was helped by a young pianist, Eric Fenby, who volunteered to act as his emanuensis.
