The Club Room
Our glorious L-shaped drawing room is ideal for talks and recitals as well as for relaxed reading of our vast selection of arts-based magazines and probably less relaxed reading of the daily newspapers!
Our treasured old Bechstein is needing such extensive restoration that we have had to consider its demise and replacement. In the meantime, our piano tuner keeps it up to scratch, an the quest is on for a new grand piano!
The room is ideally suited to a string quartet or to a small jazz group. Some convivial evenings end with an impromptu session with one of our members playing old standards.
Every month we launch a new exhibition in the Club Room which is also often used for highly engaging talks, readings and entertaining dramas.
