Opera Group, Thursday 11 April 2019, 2pm

Welcome to the 'Summer' season which opens this Thursday at 2pm in the John Calder room. 

As usual we will progress from early Italian, through opera seria, 19th century French, Italian and German opera, and 20th and 21st century opera.

The early Italian opera to open the season is Cavalli's Ercole Amante or Hercules in Love with a splendid production from Amsterdam in 2009.
